About
Abigail is a Cartoonist and Illustrator. Graduating from Camberwell College of Arts (2024). She combines traditional and digital mediums, with a narrative-led practice that includes Illustration, Comics, and Self-Publishing. Her project 'The Wandering World' is a Tarot deck intwined with her comic ‘The Devourer’. It highlights the relationship between emotional experience and the wilderness through silent protagonists that embody strangeness, transformation and resilience. Her work is often inspired loosely by traditional South Asian/ Nepali narrative art forms and early 20th-century comics. Combining scenes of gore, death and natural disasters with serene landscapes, moments of contemplation and humour, speaks to the complexity and richness of her work which is completely image led.
